Rompers
These were worn both by the kids that were used mainly for play time.
By the end on the second world war, rompers were basic staples for area wardrobe. They were usually used as costumes or uniforms for gym classes involving girls.
Smocks
This is one generic children’s clothing of a long time gone by.
